Testimonials

Mark Milligan – Socceroo, Melbourne Victory and JEF United Chiba (Japan)

“Kieran Rooney has been my physiotherapist for over the last 10 years. In that time he has always got me back on the pitch in the quickest time possible and kept me going when I just couldn’t stop playing.

He has helped me get to 4 World Cups, 2 Asian Football Cups and an Olympic games. He has helped me to play to my potential week in and week out.

18 months ago I sustained what was to be a season ending injury while playing football in Japan. Despite the best efforts of the medical staff in Japan, they were unsure what was wrong with me or how to treat it. So, I returned to Australia to see Kieran. He quickly diagnosed my problem as Osteitis Pubis and put a rehabilitation plan in place. With his treatment I got better and better. Kieran was invited by my Japanese club to return with me for the pre-season to show them how to look after me and teach them about groin injuries.

I played every single game in Japan last season and was recently re-selected for the Socceroos to play in a World Cup Qualifier after missing some of their games due to my injury.

I know that it wouldn’t of been possible to get back to playing at this level so quickly had it not been for the skill and expertise of Kieran’s treatment and rehabilitation.”

Ivan Blazevic – Manager SSFA Sharks U/15

“We had serious injuries to manage and without the skill and commitment of our physiotherapist Kieran Rooney, we would have struggled to perform at the level required.”

Penny Keable – BA, MA (Hons), PhD USyd

“Jubilee Sports Physiotherapy not only looks after sports injuries, but self-inflicted agonies I give myself when working at desktops and library’s. Michael Gabriel’s knowledgeable hands-on treatments and brilliant explanations of what is happening in an injury can enable me to follow his instructions for relieving my own pain. I consulted far and wide before finding gold at Jubilee.

What a relief.”

Tayla Anderson – Sharks Basketball

“I was attending a different physio as I had pain in my foot for approximately three months and was being treated by this physio for the three months, nothing showed up in an xray. As the pain was still appearing, I decided to attend Jubilee Sports Physiotherapy as they are recommended by Sharks Basketball at Sutherland to get to the bottom of the pain.

Kieran attended to my foot and at the second visit Kieran was not happy with the progress so he called my GP straight away. After several scans and an appointment with a specialist I was diagnosed with a stress fracture in my left foot and was not able to play basketball for approximately 8 months. It was the specialist knowledge of Keiran, after only two visits he knew something was seriously wrong. If the stress fracture was diagnosed in the beginning, treatment could have started much sooner.

My recovery was followed up by many physiotherapy visits, which Kieran attended to in conjunction with my specialist, until I had reached a complete recovery and I was able to play basketball again.

I have also attended Jubilee Physiotherapy since my original treatment, for other alignments due to playing representative basketball and they are always there assisting me to get back onto the basketball court with great care and guidance. I’d highly recommend Jubilee Sports Physio for Real results.”

David Patterson – Director Mojo Landscaping, Over 45’s Engadine Eagles

“I was first referred to Jubilee Sports Physiotherapy about six years ago by my general practitioner. At the time I was 45 yrs old and playing over 35A’s Soccer in the Sutherland shire. Some years prior i had an accident which involved permanent plates in my hip and pelvis and my femur was shortened during the surgery. I also work as a Landscaper and had ongoing work related problems with back pain and various muscle, ligament and nerve concerns.

Kieran treated me initially. With rehab work, massage and a series of exercises i was able to continue playing with little concern. He also instructed me on supportive strapping techniques which assisted me greatly.

More recently Michael has also been excellent. His stretching techniques and awareness of my condition over the past two to three years have assisted me in decreasing my general pain and discomfort levels and enabled me to continue playing the sport i love to this day.

Early last year i tore my meniscus in my ACL deficient knee. Under the guidance of Michael and Kieran, and a short stint on the side line i was (with the assistance of many rolls of strapping tape) able to play out the season. I underwent a full knee reconstruction (using the hamstring graft) and meniscus repair at the end of the season, about seven months ago. I am now three weeks away from resuming competitive play. Through regular visits, Michael’s expertise and much dedication on my part, again i am in a position to continue playing the game i love.

I cannot speak highly enough of the practice and recommend Jubilee Sports Physiotherapy.

It will only work if you follow the advice given and do the work and exercises recommended.”
