We use advanced testing equipment to ensure the best results for our patients.
We have now added to our services the AXIT system, including the StompIT force plates and Pull IT force gauge so we can ensure we are provide elite services to not only our professional athletes but our weekend warriors and everyday hero’s.
AxIT helps us to measure baseline movement strength and power data, identify imbalances from side to side, and track how you are progressing on your exercise journey toward your goals.
We can complete assessments of strength and power for any muscle in your body, as well as the movements you need to perform in your daily activities, sport or work including squats, lunges, deadlifts, hops, jumps, push ups and many more.
We use our AxIT assessment system with all our patients. With over 50+ tests with the force plates and 40+ tests with the Pull-IT, we can select appropriate testings for almost any injury at any level of recovery.
At Jubilee, we often use our assessments as a baseline for strength and function to see where you need to improve and compare this over time to ensure our interventions are working. In long term rehabilitation, for example, ACL injuries, we use this assessment technology to guide your progress to ensure the best possible outcome from your rehabilitation, and not only a return to play but return to performance!
Further, our Axit testing system can be used to assess functional capacity and lifting restriction for people returning to work from injury or as a screening for employers.
We also offer Athletic Performance Testing where we undergo a variety of strength and power tests to help determine your athletic capacity and areas that could help you improve to maximise performance in your sport.
This can help guide exercise decision making for your gym program and reports can be sent to personal trainers or coaches as requested.
Below is an example of how we use our assessment technology for safe progression and decision making in rehabilitation. The patient is a 16-year-old footballer who presented to our clinic one month following a right mid-shaft tibia fracture.
After his early rehabilitation phase of general strength, mobility, and endurance, we began to see he was still subconsciously favouring his uninjured leg in some basic double leg movements. As we tested his single leg counter movement hop, we were also able to note the large discrepancy between his left and right side. After a 4 month period of working on this through his rehabilitation program, you can see the difference during single leg movements reduce but also his weight was more evenly distributed between double leg movements. This, and other clinical tests help us focus his rehab on improving his ability to absorb force on his injured leg in preparation for running.

As you can see from the case study, we can use this assessment technology to help guide our
decision making in rehab and return to sport or activity, to ensure the best possible outcome. Often, we can use other clinical measures to assess and guide rehabilitation, however, it is valuable to have numerical values to quantify decision-making and allows the patient to see progress over time.
This is especially important in late-stage rehabilitation, where deficits in strength, power and movement might be difficult to see with the naked eye, or test with your standard clinical assessments.
